SYNOPSIS
Robert and Klaudia are a young Polish couple stuck in a rut, wondering what to do with their careers and relationship. When Klaudia’s old friend, Filip, shows up along with eccentric Wera, they purpose them a mutual Eurotrip. It might be the spark they all need to find out what they really want to do so they hit the road where they reevaluate their lives, loves and future plans.
DIRECTOR
Łukasz Suchocki is a director and cinematographer born in Kwidzyn in 1990. He began his film education with a scholarship at the Warsaw Film School in 2013 where he gained practical experience while working as a camera operator on various television series, and both as a director and a cinematographer on many music videos, short films and etudes. After graduating from school, along with Michał Krzywicki and Dagmara Brodziak, he developed the concept of the feature film Diversion End, which was produced in 2016 in a Polish-French co-production by Paris-based company Rockzeline. Diversion End won several awards at international genre-driven film festivals around Europe, including one of the most important debut festivals in Poland, The Young and Film, where it won the New Generation Award. In 2018, he was invited to Dreamers Talent Agency. Ever since then, he created a lot of commercials and fashion videos both as director and cinematographer. Two years later, in 2020, he partnered up with Maciej Dydyński to establish Splot Film production house. 2021 comes for him with two feature film premieres: The Country and The Day I Found A Girl In The Trash. He also was a director of photography for both of them.
