SYNOPSIS
They dance in the water. They are like wandering clouds. But not for an homophobic spectator.
DIRECTOR
Julián Hernández is born in Mexico City in 1972 and he graduated in film from the state University UNAM. Among his previous works are the feature films Broken Sky (2006), A Thousand Clouds of Peace Fence the Sky, Love, Your Being Love Will Never End (2003), winner of the Teddy Award at Berlin Film Festival and Raging Sun, Raging Sky, winner of the same Award but in 2009. His last five features, all represented by The Open Reel, are: I Am Happiness on Earth (2014), Tattoo of Revenge (2018), Asphalt Goddess (2019), The Trace of Your Lips (2023) and Demons at Dawn (2024). Hernández has also directed several short films. Two Amongst Many (2022) and Cobalto (2023) are his last short productions.
