DIRECTOR
Omar Flores Sarabia is a film, theater, and opera director. Born in a small town in northern Mexico, he began his cinematic career creating small projects deeply connected to both his own identity and that of his region. His first feature film, Peyote (2012), independently shot in the desert of his home state, opened the Festival Mix México and later received international distribution across Europe, the United States and Canada. He later directed and produced the web series Con Lugar -Host only (2017-2019), which has accumulated more than 35 million views on YouTube, becoming one of the most watched and successful LGBT+ web series in Mexico. He has also directed several short films, including Kaleb (2016) and Mono (2017), works that continue to explore themes of identity, desire and human vulnerability. His last feature Very Deep Inside (2026) is, to date, his boldest and most personal work: a film that explores the thin boundary between cinema, intimacy and sex.
