SYNOPSIS
Tatiana, an unemployed woman, spends her days selling her personal things in order to survive. Today she has an important deadline and she might end up selling a piece of her body in order to keep a roof over her head.
DIRECTOR
Vasile Todinca is a young filmmaker from Romania. He studied acting and directing at Babeș-Bolyai University, where he was mentored by Radu Jude. This led to him working as an assistant director on Radu Jude’s film Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn (awarded the Golden Bear in 2021) and the international production The Watcher (Sundance, 2022), among others. He directed the short film Try Again (2018), as part of his university degree, which was selected in Transilvania IFF and received the Best Script award at OKaua Festival, and the short film Jackpot (2024), co-directed with Vlad Popa, which was selected for Tallinn Black Nights IFF. He has also produced the short film The Bed of Procustes (Locarno, 2018) and participated in workshops such as IDFA Academy, Aristoteles, and FILM+.
