THE ISLAND (L’ÎLE), the fifth film by Damien Manivel (Best Director Award at the Locarno film Festival for Isadora’s Children), will participate in the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera section of the San Sebastian International Film Festival, after its world premiere at FIDMarseille, where it won a Special Mention and also triumphed in the Ciné+ competition. The French filmmaker will return to one of the most daring and open sections of the San Sebastian Festival, after presenting Isadora’s Children and Takara, the Night I Swam.
