The Open Reel has acquired two short films directed by Daniele Sartori: Doris Ortiz (2012) and The Appointment (2010), now in its Director’s cut version. This last one won several prizes and has given the director lot of visibility in the festivals circuit.
Born in Venice, Daniele Sartori graduated at Accademia Teatrale Veneta. A few years later he wroted and directed his first short film, Magma. He has cooperated several times with the independent film scene from Milan and Veneto and has also wirtten and directed the short films Una sorpresa and Ora scelgo io. He has founded the production company Lost In Vauxhall, specialised in short films and videoclips, representing the expressive territory he prefers.
