Carmin Tropical has been awarded yesterday night with a Mexican Ariel Award for the Best Screeplay (given to Rigoberto Perezcano, who has also directed the film).
This is the second official achievementt the film gets, after the victory at last Morelia International Film Festival in the Mexican Feature Film category.
For the Open Reel this prize represents the second vitory at the Ariels after the award given last year to Roberto Fiesco and its Quebranto.
